Engine and transmission mountings, aligning

Special tools, equipment, testers, measuring instruments and auxiliary items required
^ 10-222A Support assembly with legs 10-222A/1 and Adapter 10-222A/3

CAUTION: The assembly must be supported with support bar 10-222A before loosening bolts.





Engine mounting
^ a-= 14.0 mm
^ b- = at least 10.0 mm
Both bolt heads 1 must be flush with edge -c-





Transmission mounting
Edges -a- and -b- must be parallel with one another
^ c- = 1820 mm.
Torque settings; Refer to Engine, Specifications, Mechanical, Torque Settings

Assembly mounting
Tightening torques





Engine mounting
1. Mounting to body [1] 40 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn)
2. Mounting/bracket to body 25 Nm
3. Mounting to engine mounting 100 Nm
[1] Replace bolts





Transmission mounting
1. Mounting to body [1] 40 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn)
2. Mounting to body 25 Nm
3. Mounting retransmission console 100 Nm
[1] Replace bolts





Pendulum support
1. Pendulum support to transmission [1] 40 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn)
2. Pendulum support to transmission [1] 40 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn)
3. Pendulum support to subframe [1] 20 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn)
[1] Replace bolts
