Brake pedal, assembly overview

WARNING: The brake pedal travel must not be restricted by additional floor coverings.

Note: Grease all mountings before installing with grease Part No. G 000 602.
1. Mounting bracket
2. Self-locking hex nut, 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
3. Brake light switch for vehicles up to m.y.O2.00
^ Before installing new brake light switch, connect brake pedal to brake booster push rod
^ Before installing pull plunger out completely

Installing:

CAUTION: Keep brake pedal in the down position and hold pedal while installing switch.

^ Guide switch through mounting hole (only fits in one position) and secure by turning 90 clockwise
^ Release brake pedal
^ Connect brake light switch connector
^ Check function of brake lights
4. Brake light switch for vehicles from m.y. 03.00
^ Before installing new brake light switch, connect brake pedal to brake booster push rod
^ Before installing pull plunger out completely
Installing:

CAUTION: Keep brake pedal in the up position and hold pedal while installing switch.

^ Guide switch through mounting hole (only fits in one position) and secure by turning 45° clockwise
^ Release brake pedal
^ Connect brake light switch connector
^ Check function of brake lights
5. Accelerator pedal
6. Hex bolt
7. Brake pedal
8. Pad
9. Self-locking hex nut, 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
10. Mounting bushing
11. Pivot pin
