Wiper Blade: Service and Repair

Wiper rubber, removing and installing







Removing
- Using pair of pliers press together both steel strips on the enclosed side of rubber.
- Slide sideways out of upper clip and remove rubber complete with strips from other clips of wiper blades.







Installing
- Slide new rubber into lower clips of wiper blade.
- Insert both strips in first groove of rubber, so recesses in strips face rubber and engage in rubber lugs of groove.
- Using pliers press both steel strips and rubber together, insert in upper clips so lugs of clips on both sides engage in retaining slots (arrow) of wiper blade rubber.
