Windshield washer system jets, checking and adjusting


CAUTION!
Spray jets must not be cleaned opposite to direction of spray, e.g.: blown through from front.


Washer jet spray height and lateral position are preset in production. However, small height adjustments are possible.







If spray height of both jets is not equal, adjust as follows:


NOTE: Two different types of adjustable washer jets are installed. Use the appropriate procedure described below.


Up To 09.99







Turn eccentric screw on jet in direction of -arrow- to raise spray pattern. Turn in opposite direction to lower pattern.

Raise or lower adjustment tab -1- at jet by hand (or with small screwdriver) accordingly.
