Side Window, Adjusting

• Side trim, loudspeaker removed and convertible top closed.

• Observe that flushness and joint between door window and side window is guaranteed.

• If side inclination (side distance) is not suitable, it can be corrected via adjuster at carrier plate.

- Lower side window to center position until combination nut is visible in installation opening - arrow -.





- Loosen combination nut.

- Raise door window until combination nut is visible in installation opening - arrows -.





- Loosen combination nuts.

• Side window can now be moved forward and backward as well as up and down.

- Align side window - 2 - parallel with door window - 1 -. Dimension (- A -): 9 mm





- Press side window slightly into window guide - arrow B -.

- Tighten combination nuts (6 Nm) through installation opening - arrows -.





- Lower side window to center position until combination nut is visible in installation opening - arrow -.





- Tighten combination nut.

Then perform function check.

Adjusting Side Inclination

• Side window must be installed.

- Remove outer window recess seal.

- Loosen bolts - 1 -.





- Loosen combination nuts in installation opening.





- Adjust distance and side inclination of side window using socket wrench at adjuster.

Then perform function check.

- Tighten combination nuts.

- Tighten retaining plate bolts.

- Install outer window recess seal.
