Front Door Window, Removing And Installing (Convertible)

Removing
- Remove front door trim
- Remove inner window recess seal.







- Pry off caps - 1 -.
- Drive door window - 4 - far enough upward or downward until clamping brackets stand in installation openings - 1 -.

NOTE: If work step is not possible due to malfunction of the electrical window regulator, window regulator motor can be removed to be able to slide window down. To do so, subframe must be removed.

- Loosen bolts - 2 - and press clamping brackets apart.
- Remove bolt - 3 -.







- Raise door window - 1 - and remove rearward in - direction of arrow - via core at door lock - 3 -.

Installing







- Carefully slide door window - 1 - into door slot so that threaded plate - 2 - does not fall off.
- Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
- Adjust door window.
