Clutch pedal, removing and installing

Special tools and equipment





^ Unlocking tool 3309





^ 10-208 A Pliers

Removing
^ Check whether a coded radio is fitted. If so, obtain anti-theft coding.
^ With ignition switched off disconnect battery Ground strap.
^ Remove cover in driver's footwell.
^ Remove overcenter spring.
^ Remove clutch pedal from clutch master cylinder and press operating rod until it reaches engine compartment.





^ Remove nut-A-.
^ Remove screw, until clutch pedal can be taken out.

Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence, when doing this note the following:
^ Install overcenter spring .





Support -A- must be on clutch master cylinder operating rod -B-.
^ Push clutch pedal in direction of arrow to engage it, and make sure it is well fitted.
^ Fill brake fluid reservoir to "maximum" mark with brake fluid.
^ If brake fluid is below "min" mark, bleed clutch system.
