Wiring Harness With 8-Pin Connector, Removing and Installing


Wiring harness with 8-pin connector, removing and installing

Removing
- Remove oil pan.
- Remove oil strainer.





- Disconnect connections of hydraulic pressure sensors -1- and -4-.
- Disconnect connections -2- and -5-.

Note: If a connection is damaged, the wiring harnesses or the Sensor for transmission RPM -G182-, or the Sender for transmission output RPM -G195- must be replaced.





- Remove bolt -6-.
- Carefully remove Transmission fluid temperature sensor -G93- -7- along with retainer from valve body.

Note: For the reinstallation, note the mounting of the retainer for the Transmission fluid temperature sensor -G93-.

- Unclip wiring harness on retainer -8-.





- Disconnect connector -1- from transmission.
- Remove bolt/screw securing 8-pin transmission connector.
- Pull connector and wiring outward out of transmission housing.

Installing
Install in reverse order. When doing this note the following:
- Replace O-ring on connector.
- Push connector with new O-ring into transmission onto limit stop.
- Tighten bolt/screw for 8-pin transmission connector.
- Tighten securing bolt/screw for Transmission fluid temperature sensor -G93- retainer to 11 Nm.
- Install oil strainer.
- Install oil pan.
