Required special tools and equipment:





Oil extractor VAG 1358 A (or equivalent)

If the torque converter has become contaminated by wear or when completely overhauling the transmission, drain the torque converter as follows:





Extract ATF from torque converter using VAG 1358 A and probe VAG 1358 A/1 or equivalent.
