With Manufacturer's Scan Tool

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory, checking
- Connect VAS 5051 and select functions.
The following description refers to the VAG 1551





Indicated on display
- Press keys O and 2. (02 selects function "Check DTC memory").





Indicated on display
- Confirm entry with Q key.





The number of DTC's stored or "No DTC detected!" will be shown on the display.
If one or more DTC's are stored:

The stored DTC's will be displayed and printed out one after the other.





After the stored DTC's have been printed out, the display will show:
- Eliminate printed-out DTC's using appropriate table.
- Erase DTC memory.

If no DTC is stored:
- Press --> key.

- Press keys O and 6 for "End data transfer" function and confirm input with Q key.
