- Secure transmission to engine and transmission support VW 540 (arrows) and place in support clamp VW 313.
- Workshop crane VAG 1202 A and shackle 10-222 A/12 may be used for this purpose transmission] transporting.

WARNING: The transmission center of gravity is outside the point of rotation of the support clamp. When turning the transmission over, a second technician is required to hold the transmission housing to keep it from swinging back.

Note: If a transmission filled with oil is to be turned so that the oil pan is on top, the breathers in the transmission housing must be sealed.
