Power Steering Fluid Reservoir: Service and Repair

Reservoir, disassembling and assembling





1. Cap with dip stick
^ Oil level with engine warm, temperature approx. 50° C (122° F): between MIN and MAX marks arrow -A-
^ Check oil level with cap screwed on
^ Twist to open (e.g. using pry bar for leverage)
^ Oil level with engine cold, arrow -A-: not over MIN marking
2. Hose clamp
3. Return hose
4. Suction hose
5. Bolt, 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)
6. Reservoir
7. Battery console

^ Before installing fill with oil
