Seat Height Adjusting Element, Removing And Installing

NOTE:
- Removal and installation is described for left side of vehicle. The same instructions apply for removal and installation for the right-hand side.
- Slight changes may have to be made to removal and installation procedures, depending upon equipment installed in vehicle.

Removing

NOTE: Before removing, seat must be brought to highest position in order to release tension on tension springs - 16 - to the greatest extent.

- Remove seat.





- Remove bolt - 2 - and unclip trim - 1 -.
- Unclip two cover caps - 11 -, remove two bolts - 12 - and remove adjusting lever - 13 -.
- Remove bolt - 17 - and unclip trim - 14 -.





- Carefully unhook tension spring - 2 -.
- Remove bolts - arrows - (10 Nm) and pull seat height adjustment - 1 - out of seat frame.

Installing
- Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
