Side Trim, Servicing

NOTE: Removal and installation is described for left side of vehicle. The same instructions apply for removal and installation for the right-hand side.

Removing
- Remove side trim.
- Remove foundation frame for flap positioning module.







- Remove mountings - arrows - of side panel - 1 - using grinder and remove from lower part - 2 -. Old side panel cannot be reused.

Installing







- After painting, attach new side panel - 1 - to lower part - 2 - and heat mounting tabs - 3 - one after other using hot air gun VAS 1978 and then set down. Set down mounting labs alternately upward and downward or left and right.
- The rest of the installation is the reverse order of removal.
