Rear Lid Lock, Removing And Installing







1 - Carrier for rear lid remote release motor
- With lock cylinder, micro switch and foldaway handle
- Rear lid remote release motor V151 can only be removed in conjunction with carrier

2 - VW emblem
- Upper part for access to handle and lock cylinder swivels
- Removing:
- Remove carrier for rear lid remote release motor.

3 - Water drain hose
4 - Rear lid
5 - Lock
- Removing:
- Remove rear lid trim
- Disconnect harness connector from lock.
- Unclip operating rod, remove bolts and remove lock from rear lid.

6 - Bolt
- 23 Nm

7 - Closure plate
- Adjusting - within elongated holes
- Removing:
- Remove cover for loading edge
- Remove bolts.

8 - Bolt
- 23 Nm

9 - Operating rod
10 - Combination bolt
- 5 Nm
