Rear Lid Trim, Removing And Installing (Convertible USA)

Removing







- Disconnect cover - 8 - from grip piece - 6 -.







- Remove bolt - 7 -.
- Remove grip - 6 -.
- Remove bolt - 10 - from back of luggage compartment lid - 2 -.
- Remove trim - 3 - from lower lid - 2 - and on sides.

For vehicles 12.03 -->







- Loosen black plastic pin - 1 - of lid lock - 3 - in - direction of arrow -.
- Loosen black plastic plug with cable - 2 - of lid lock - 3 - in - direction of arrow -.







- Remove black plastic plug with cable - 2 - from trim - 1 - in - direction of arrow -.

Installing
Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE: Before installing trim, check condition and seating of clips and plastic plug with cable. Replace clips if necessary. When threading in bolt for grip piece, apply locking compound.
