Rear Lid, Adjusting (convertible)

NOTE:
- Rear lid is properly adjusted when there is an overall even gap dimension when closed, it is not too far inward or outward and contours align.
- Vehicle must stand on its wheels in order to be able to perform the adjustment.

- Gap dimension Body panel gaps; Body, rear
- After installation or adjustment work, corrosion protection measure must be performed on hinge and bolts.







- Height, longitudinal and transverse planes are adjusted using bolts - 2 - and - 4 - in elongated holes in hinge.

Rear lid hinge stop, adjusting
- Install rear lid hinge in vehicle without lid.







- With hinge closed - 5 -, adjustment bolt - 1 - must make contact at top without pressure.

- Unthread adjustment bolt - 1 - 1.5 to 3 mm (this adjusts hinge pre-tension).
