Anti-Theft Immobilizer on Board Diagnostic (OBD)

If malfunctions occur in sensors and components being monitored, they will be stored in the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory together with and indication of the type of malfunction.

A maximum of 4 DTCs can be stored simultaneously.

Sporatic malfunctions are automatically cancelled if they are not repeated in next 50 engine starts.

On Board Diagnostic is carried out using the VAS 5051 Vehicle Diagnostic Testing and Information System or VAS 5052 Vehicle Diagnostic and Service System in mode "Guided Fault Finding".
