Sunroof Drive Motor, Removing And Installing

Removing







- Unclip cover - 1 - for drive motor.

Changing motor - detection of pre-selector switch:

NOTE:
- In order to interrupt release signal and reby to activate switch detection, following conditions must be met.
- If this is not case, it may lead to drive motor incorrectly detecting pre-adjuster, and position is not reached. If this happens, it must be realized that it will remain stationary at a switch position approx. 10 cm short of actual closing position.

CAUTION:
- Only remove and install drive motor for sunroof glass panel when roof is closed ("0" position).
- Engine and ignition off, remove key and open door.

- This state must be maintained up to installation of drive motor.

- Unclip and disconnect harness connector.
- Remove bolts - arrows - and remove drive motor for sunroof.







bolts for drive motor are micro-encapsulated and must always be replaced 3.5 Nm.

Installing
Installation is reverse order of removal.

Bolts for sunroof drive motor are micro-encapsulated and must always be replaced 3.5 Nm.

- Perform a function test.
