Login-Procedure (Clearing Previous Adaptation - Function 11)

Login-procedure (function 11)

NOTE:
- If an Engine Control Module (ECM) being installed was previously adapted for Immobilizer functions, the previous adaptation must be cleared using the following Login-procedure.
- To avoid false entry, determine 14-digit identification number for control module using OBD program, Scan Tool (ST) function 01, "Check control module version". The secret number must be obtained from the corporate radio/immobilizer code retrieval system (supply the 14-character Immobilizer identification number). With Manufacturer Scan Tool
- 3 attempts at entering the secret number correctly are possible immediately. The next 3 attempts are not permitted for at least 10 minutes. During this time, the ignition must remain on. On Board Diagnostic (OBD) must be also exited using the "End Output" function 06.
- The wait period between each of the next 3 attempts doubles up to the maximum time of 255 minutes.
