^ V.A.G 1594 A or VW 1594 connector test kit
^ Wiring Diagram

Test requirements






^ Main fuses must be OK.
^ Radiator fan thermo switch -F18- OK

Test procedure

- Remove 3-pin connector form radiator fan thermo switch -F18-.
- Bridge contacts -1- and -2- using jumper from V.A.G 1594 A or VW 1594 test kit:

^ Stage 1 for radiator fan -V7- and -V35- must start to run.
- Switch ignition ON.
- Bridge contacts -2- and -3- using jumper from V.A.G 1594 A or VW 1594 test kit.
^ Stage 2 for radiator fan -V7- and -V35- must start to run.
If stage 1 or 2 of radiator fan does not run:
- Use Wiring Diagram for troubleshooting and repair:
If wiring is OK:
- Replace radiator fan -V7- or -V35- as required.
