Belt Reel, Removing

- Fold seat back down.







- Unhook seat belt bracket -1- from lower mount -2-.
- Remove seat backrest.







- Pry off cap -1- and seat belt guide -2-.
- Remove head restraint guides.
- Release cover and padding for seat backrest.







- Remove four screws -1- and take the seat belt mounting -2- off backrest frame -3-.
- Remove six-sided nuts -5- (tightening torque: 40 Nm) and separate the belt inertia reel -4- from backrest frame -3-.
- Remove seat belt with seat belt mounting downward from backrest frame -3-.


NOTE: The belt reel must be held in the installed position to unreel the seat belt.
