Slotted Guide Rail, Removing

- Remove glass panel for sunroof.
- Remove carrier unit.
- Remove sunroof.







- Unclip end cap -1- (arrows) from guide rail -2- and remove.


NOTE: When installing end piece -1-, seal to the guide rail with butyl adhesive sealing cord, Part No. AKL 450 005 05.







- Unclip water channel -1- from guide -2- on both sides carefully with a screwdriver and remove.







- Slide rear guide -1- in guide rail -4- in direction of arrow until guide -3- is released.
- Pull rear guide -1-, guide -3- and slotted guide rail -2- out of guide rail -4-.


NOTE: Always replace guides with cable as a pair.
