Center Console Extension, Removing and Installing



Center Console Extension, Removing And Installing

CAUTION: Disconnect battery ground (GND) strap before working on electrical system.

NOTE:
- Slight changes may have to be made to removal and installation procedures, depending upon equipment installed in vehicle.
- Obtain radio code before disconnecting battery.

Removing
- Switch ignition off.
- Remove center armrest.
- Remove rear ashtray.
- Remove rear cup holder.
- Remove caps - 2 -.
- Remove bolts - 3 -.
- Remove bolts - 6 -.
- Pull on hand brake lever - 7 -.
- Release center console extension - 4 - from center console - 1 -.
- Pull up center console extension - 4 - at front - arrow A -, guide over center armrest support at rear and disconnect connector from fuel flap switch - 5 -.







- Remove center console extension - 4 - toward front over hand brake lever - 7 -.







Installing
- Installation is reverse of removal.

NOTE:
- Check operation of vehicle equipment (radio, clock, electric windows) as per Repair Manual/Owners Manual after reconnecting battery.
- If engine Electronic Control Module (ECM) is subject to low voltage with ignition on, DTC memory and readiness code must be checked.
