Lock Cylinder Housing, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Remove rear lid trim.
- Disconnect connector - 3 -.







- Unclip operating rods - 1 - and - 2 - on lock cylinder housing.

NOTE:
- Lower spring mount can be damaged during collision repair.
- If this is case lock cylinder housing must be replaced.
- Installation must therefore be performed carefully.

- Use screwdriver to lift retaining clip - 1 -.
- Pry retaining clip - 1 - over lock cylinder housing mount with screwdriver.







- Remove cylinder housing.


Installing
- Install bowden cable into lock - arrow -







- Insert retaining clip - 1 - and hold bowden cable with retaining clip - 1 - .
- Install retaining clip - 1 - in handle.







- Insert lock cylinder housing in handle until it stops with an audible click.
- Clip operating rods - 1 - and - 2 - on.
- Reconnect connector - 3 - .







- Continue in reverse order and perform functional test
