Brake Light Switch: Adjustments

Brake light switch -F-, adjusting
- Remove driver's side kneebar.

Mounting bracket with threaded hole for brake light switch.





1. Brake light switch
2. Hex nut, M12 x 1.5
3. Brake pedal

Note: There is a spring ring between nut -2- and pedal bracket (not visible in illustration).

Before adjusting the brake light switch check whether the brake pedal is on the end stop (rest position).
- Thread brake light switch in or out until dimension -A- = 0.1 - 0.5 mm is set.
- Tighten nut -2- to 4.5 Nm (40 inch lbs.).
- Reinstall driver's side kneebar.
- Operate brake pedal. Both brake lights light up.
- Take foot off brake pedal.
=> Both brake lights must not be lit.
