Topping Up Transmission Oil

4 Speed Automatic 01M






- Remove plug protective cap (arrow) with a screwdriver. As cap will be damaged, always replace cap.

- Remove plug from filler line.





- Remove level plug (arrow 1).





- Fill with ATF using VAG 1924, until ATF runs out of level hole (arrow).

CAUTION! Too little or too much ATF will adversely affect transmission function.





- Install new seal to level plug (arrow 1) and tighten to 15 Nm (11 ft lb).

- Install plug on filler pipe and secure with a new cap (arrow 2).

- Lock cap.

Note: Always replace protective cap.
