Test procedure






- Connect scan tool according to manufacturer's instructions
- After scan tool is connected, switch ignition on or start engine (depending upon desired function).

NOTES: If the display remains blank, check scan tool voltage supply
If the display does not display what is described in the test procedure, refer to scan tool operating instructions.
If due to an input malfunction "Error in communication link" is displayed disconnect Data Link Connector (DLC) from scan tool, reconnect DLC and repeat procedure.

- Operate scan tool taking into account information on display.
