Slotted Guide Rail, Removing

- Remove sunroof glass panel.
- Select "closed roof" with rotary switch.
- Remove carrier unit.
- Remove drive for sunroof.







- Remove screws for end piece -1- (arrows) from guide rail -2- and then remove end piece.


NOTE: When installing end piece -1-, seal to guide rail with butyl adhesive sealing cord, Part No. AKL 450 005 05.







- Slide slotted guide rail -1- with cable -2- and water channel -3- simultaneously out of carrier unit guide rail and then disassemble.


NOTE: Always replace guides with cable as a pair
