Locating Control Arm Bushing, Replacing



Locating control arm bushing, replacing





Special tools required

CAUTION: Always use protective jaw covers when clamping aluminum control arms in a vise.





Pulling bushing out of control arm





Bushing installed position

Note:
^ The arrows on the bushing -1- or groove -2- points toward the joint pin.
^ The maximum permissible deviation is + 5°.





Pulling bushing in
- Insert bushing in special tool 3347/2.
- Tighten sleeve 3347/1, spindle 3346/2 and nut together.
- Pull in bushing -A- onto stop.
