Sunroof Installation Unit, Removing And Installing

Removing
Removing molded headliner.
- Disconnect Ground (GND) strap from battery.
- Disconnect harness connectors from drive motor.
- Disconnect water drain hoses - arrows - from installation unit.







- Remove bolts - 1 - and remove installation unit from vehicle with a second mechanic.

Installing
- Align installation unit in roof cut-out (use centering holes).
- Tighten bolts - 1 - at left/right in sequence starting from drive motor toward rear 8 Nm.







Rest of installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
