Radio Frequency Removing and Installing For Main Key



Radio Transmitter





1 - Transmitter upper part (turned-over)
2 - Button battery
3 - Contact plate
4 - Button battery
5 - Transmitter - lower part
6 - Main key with variable code transponder
To be able to differentiate between a key with transponder and a key with variable code transponder the main key has a "w" stamped on it.

Removing




- Insert a screwdriver in slot between transmitter unit -1- and main key -2-.
- Move screwdriver in direction of arrow and unclip transmitter unit from main key.




- Pry transmitter unit apart on two locating tabs -arrows-.




- Unclip upper battery -1- from retainers -2- by moving screwdriver in direction of arrow.





- Contact plate -1- has two straight edges. Turn these edges toward retainers to remove contact plate.


NOTE: The contact plate can also be unclipped with a screw driver. Unclip lower battery from retainers with a screwdriver.

Installing
- Observe the polarity and correct position when installing the batteries.




- Install battery -4- with positive (+) side down. (+ is marked on housing).
- Place contact plate -3- on battery -4-.
- Place battery -2- with positive (+) side down on contact plate and secure.
- Place transmitters -1- and -5- together and clip.
- Engage transmitter unit with main key.
