Shift Interlock Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

SHIFTLOCK SOLENOID N110

Shiftlock Switch:

1. Ensure Shift Interlock Cable lock is disengaged.
2. Place selector lever in "P position.





3. Disconnect connector for solenoid and connect solenoid to a suitable 12 volt source.
4. It must not be possible to move shifter into any gear position.
5. Disconnect 12 volt source, shifter must move to all gear positions.
6. Repeat above steps with lever in position "N.
