Main pressure, checking

Before checking the main pressure determine the cause of any malfunction as precisely as possible with the aid of Repair Group 01, On-Board Diagnostic (OBD).

- Drive vehicle to bring ATF temperature to 60°C (140°F)





Note:
Connect the VAG 1551 Scan Tool and read ATF temperature in Measured Value Block; see Repair Group 01.

- Remove plug (arrow) and connect pressure gauge US 1090

CAUTION
Always replace main pressure drilling plug.
