The welded fasteners on the rear axle have been changed from "T" pins to threaded studs. The clips for the brake lines and parking brake cables have also been changed.





- Identification

1 - Clip for brake lines
2 - Welded on threaded stud for brake line retainer and clip for parking brake cable
Dimension -A- = 12 mm (approx. 1/2 in)

3 - Clip for brake line and ABS cable channel
4 - Brake line (as replacement part)
Make sure that the brake line does not contact the body or the exhaust system silencer when the rear axle springs are fully compressed.

5 - Parking brake cable without protective coating

After current stock of rear axles has been exhausted, only rear axles with welded on threaded studs will be delivered as replacement parts. For vehicles up to July 1994, different parts must then be used.
