- With vehicle raised (wheels hanging free), check play by moving tie rods and wheels. Play: Zero
Specification: zero play
- Check mounts.
- Ensure boots are correctly seated and not damaged

Center position on rack, determining





Rack should be centered before installing power steering gear on subframe.
- Slide rack until dimension -a- is achieved.
Dimension -a- = 30.5 mm (1.20 inch).
