Steering In Center Position Difficult/Poor Stability

1. Power steering pump defective. Check feed pressure, replace pump if necessary.
2. Steering gear defective. Check system pressure, replace Steering gear if necessary.
3. Air in hydraulic system, hose connections loose. Tighten hose connections.
4. Front end alignment incorrect. Align front end to specifications.
5. Front wheel/wheel assembly out of balance. Correct imbalance.
6. Tire pressure too low. Check and adjust.
7. Bearing in steering column switch defective. Replace bearing.
