How to Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's)

Test Conditions:
- DTC memory was checked.
- Press -> button.

- Press buttons -0- and -5- to select "Erase DTC Memory" function 05.

- Press -Q- button to confirm input.

NOTE:
- If this display is shown, the correct diagnostic sequence was not followed.
- Follow the test sequence exactly First check DTC memory (function 02), then erase DTC memory (function 05).

End Output:
- Press buttons -0- and -6- to end output.

- Switch off ignition.
- Disconnect adapter harness VAG 1551/3.
- Switch on ignition.

The airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) -K75- must go out after approximately 3 seconds.
