With VAG

CHECKING FUEL INJECTORS

REQUIREMENTS
^ Engine Speed (RPM) Sensor OK.

PROCEDURE
- Check triggering of Fuel Injectors



- Disconnect connector -1- from -2- Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (G62).
- Adjust VAG 1630 digital potentiometer (side A set to 15 Ohm) and connect to G62 connector using adapter leads from VW 1594.
- Remove upper part of intake manifold.
- Remove fuel rail (fuel lines and Fuel Injectors remain connected).



- Install Fuel Injectors in VAG 1602 measuring device.
- Disconnect connector from Ignition Coil (N152).
- Operate Starter.

^ Fuel Injectors must spray with uniform pulsing.

- Switch ignition off and check Fuel Injectors for leaks.

^ Not more-than 2 drops per minute.

NOTE: When installing injectors, make sure the O-rings are not damaged.
