Door, adjustment
To ensure correct door adjustment, the door hinges at the door pillar must be loosened.
Note
Do not attempt to adjust door by bending upwards. This will cause damage to the door.
Special tool 3320
Special tool 3320 (-3-) is used in conjunction with torque wrench with plug and socket connection Hazet 6290-1CT (see note and illustration on page 3), to loosen bolts on door hinge at A-pillar.
- Position bit insert (-1-) for right or left doors and secure with set screw (-2-).
- Open door and loosen bolts (-1-) (Torx T45) and lower hinges using special tool 3320 (-2-).
- Adjust door (with the assistance of a second technician) as necessary. Tighten bolts to 34 Nm (25 ft lb).
- Check adjustment and repeat if necessary.
Note

After door adjustment is corrected, touch up paint in hinge area as necessary.
