Vehicles with upshift indicator use a new transmission switch to activate upshift light and also the reverse lights..
Modified selector shaft is also used and is now retained with a peg bolt instead of retaining screw.

Before removing selector shaft, remove peg bolt and upshift/reverse light switch.
Spring-loaded final drive flanges, repairing

- remove seal using support to avoid damaging sleeve
FIGURE 7 - SLEEVE, REMOVING:
- crease sleeve in
- remove with pliers
