Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NETWORKING: LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR; 2013 MY Corolla [07/2012 -]

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Key or Main Body / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check the detail of the DTC(s) LIN Communication System.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Key or Main Body / Trouble Codes.

(e) Clear the DTC(s).
