Disassembly

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: DISASSEMBLY; 2013 MY Corolla [07/2012 -]

1. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER LH (w/ Front Spoiler)

(a) Remove the clip, 7 retainers and front spoiler cover LH.





2. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER RH (w/ Front Spoiler)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (w/ Bracket)

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

4. REMOVE HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL SEAL

(a) Remove the 3 clips.





(b) Remove the hood to front end panel seal.

5. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY

(a) for Radiator Grille Mesh Type:

(1) Remove the 6 clips.





(2) Disengage the 19 claws and guide, and remove the radiator grille assembly.





(b) for Radiator Grille Bar Type:

(1) Remove the 6 clips.





(2) Disengage the 19 claws and guide, and remove the radiator grille assembly.





6. REMOVE FRONT PANEL EMBLEM

(a) Disengage the 2 claws (A).





(b) Disengage the 2 claws (B) and remove the front panel emblem.

7. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Disengage the 17 claws and remove the lower radiator grille.





8. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light) Removal

9. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

10. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front bumper hole cover LH.





11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

12. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)

(a) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the fog light cover LH.





13. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/ Fog Light)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

(a) Remove the bolt.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper side support LH.

15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

(a) Disengage the 4 guides and remove the front bumper energy absorber.





17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage each clamp.





(b) Remove the 4 nuts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.
