Installation

AUDIO / VIDEO: STEERING PAD SWITCH: INSTALLATION; 2013 MY Corolla [07/2012 -]

1. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH LH

(a) for Type A:

(1) Engage the 2 pins and install the steering pad switch LH.

(2) Install the screw.

Torque : 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)

(3) Engage the clamp.

(4) Connect the connector to the spiral cable.

(b) for Type B:

(1) Engage the 2 pins and claw to install the steering pad switch LH.

(2) Install the screw.

Torque : 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)

(3) Connect the connector to the spiral cable.

2. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) for Type A:

(1) Engage the 2 pins and install the steering pad switch assembly.

(2) Install the screw.

Torque : 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)

(3) Engage the clamp.

(4) Engage the 2 pins and install the steering pad switch.

(5) Install the screw.

Torque : 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)

(6) Engage the clamp.

(7) Connect the connector to the spiral cable.

(b) for Type B:

(1) Engage the 2 pins and claw to install the steering pad switch assembly.

(2) Install the screw.

Torque : 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)

(3) Engage the 2 pins and claw to install the steering pad switch.

(4) Install the screw.

Torque : 2.4 Nm (24 kgf-cm, 21 in-lbf)

(5) Connect the connector to the spiral cable.

4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER Installation

5. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

7. INSPECT STEERING PAD Installation

8. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
