Installation (from 07/2011)

CLUTCH: CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER (for Hatchback): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the clutch release cylinder assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 12 Nm (120 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

2. CONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER TO FLEXIBLE HOSE TUBE

(a) Using a union nut wrench (10 mm), connect the clutch release cylinder to flexible hose tube to the clutch release cylinder assembly.

Torque : 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Use the formula to calculate special torque values for situations where a union nut wrench is combined with a torque wrench Service Precautions.

3. FILL RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID Service and Repair

4. BLEED CLUTCH LINE Procedures

5. INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK

6. INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEVEL Testing and Inspection
