HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: REFRIGERANT LINE (for Hatchback): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE PIPING CLAMP

(a) While pressing the end of the suction hose into the end of the air conditioner tube and accessory, use pliers to squeeze together both sides of the piping clamp until it breaks apart.

NOTICE:
Make sure that fragments of the piping clamp do not enter the piping.

(b) Separate the suction hose.

NOTICE:
Clean off any dirt or water near the ends of the suction hose and air conditioner tube and accessory.

(c) Remove the 2 O-rings from the suction hose.

NOTICE:
Wrap the open ends of the separated air conditioner tube and accessory and suction hose with vinyl tape to prevent dirt or water from entering.
