HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: REFRIGERANT LINE (for Hatchback): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL PIPING CLAMP

(a) Install a new piping clamp onto the suction hose.

NOTICE:
Securely engage the inside step of the piping clamp in the suction hose groove.

(b) Remove the vinyl tape from the open ends of the air conditioner tube and accessory and suction hose.

(c) Thoroughly coat a new O-ring and the contact surface of the suction hose with compressor oil (ND-OIL8).

(d) Install the 2 O-rings onto the suction hose.

NOTICE:
Do not let foreign matter adhere to the O-ring or O-ring seal.

(e) Engage the air conditioner tube and accessory and suction hose by matching the alignment marks.

NOTICE:
Insert them by holding the pipe, not the piping clamp.

(f) Securely insert the piping clamp to the point where the large diameter section of the piping clamp is covered by the air conditioner tube and accessory.

* When inserting, make sure that a click sound is heard.
* Check that the air conditioner tube and accessory is securely inserted by pulling it.
