Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Testing and Inspection

1NZ-FE COOLING: COOLING FAN MOTOR (for Hatchback): ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT COOLING FAN MOTOR

(a) Check that the motor operates smoothly when battery voltage is applied to the cooling fan motor connector.





(b) Connect the 400 A probe of an ammeter to terminal 2(+) of the cooling fan motor.

(c) Measure the current while the motor is operating.
