Disassembly (from 07/2011)

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR BUMPER (for Hatchback without Sport Package): DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE LH

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper plate.

2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

(a) Remove the 2 clips and the rear bumper side seal.





4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

5. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and guide and remove the rear bumper side retainer.

6. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and rear bumper side support.

8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

9. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Remove the 4 nuts and the rear bumper reinforcement.





10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM LH

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and the rear bumper arm.





11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

12. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the rear bumper reinforcement.
