Reassembly (from 07/2011)

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR BUMPER (for Hatchback with Sport Package): REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Engage the 2 guides and install the rear bumper reinforcement.





2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM LH

(a) Install the rear bumper arm with the 3 bolts.





Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

4. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Install the rear bumper reinforcement with the 4 nuts.





Torque : 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)

5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear bumper side support.





(b) Tighten the screw.

6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Engage the guide and, 2 claws and install the rear bumper side retainer.





(b) Tighten the screw.

8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

9. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

(a) Install the rear bumper side seal with the 2 clips.





10. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

11. INSTALL REAR BUMPER GUARD

(a) Engage the 8 claws and install the rear bumper guard.





(b) Install the 2 clips.

(c) Engage the claw and install the outside moulding retainer.





HINT
Use the same procedure as for the opposite side.

12. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PLATE LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear bumper plate.





(b) Tighten the 2 nuts.

Torque : 2.0 Nm (20 kgf-cm, 17 in-lbf)

13. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PLATE RH
